International Kids Friendly Travel (IKFT™) was created to make it easier for parents to find hotels that are genuinely welcoming for children places designed for comfort, play, rest, and happy memories. We help families identify travel options that truly care for kids, while encouraging hotels and operators that invest in creating inclusive, enjoyable spaces for every child.
IKFT™ is an independent recognition for family suitability in travel. We use structured IKFT Kidmetrix™ checks and practical observation to help families compare hotels more easily and to help hotels understand what kids look for.
