If a hotel should be in our directory but is not listed, it may be pending review, listed under another name, or part of a future update.
Current launch countries
The 2026 International Kids Friendly Travel launch directory currently focuses on selected 3★, 4★ and 5★ hotels and resorts across the following launch countries: Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, South Korea, United Kingdom, and United States. Directory publication is progressive. Not every scanned hotel or resort in these countries may appear in the current public release.
Planned additions
During May and June 2026, IKFT expects to continue adding hotels and resort entries for the first Edition, additional country releases, and manually reviewed candidates from the wider scan. Mid 2026 expansion markets currently include Australia, Cyprus, Croatia, Bulgaria, Egypt, Malaysia, Maldives, New Zealand, Singapore, Slovakia, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam.
Publication timing may change as review stages, data quality checks, and operational conditions are completed.
How to read IKFT® results
Each directory result shows the hotel’s star category, IKFT Recognized level, Travel Mode Tag, and current directory status. A hotel is reviewed within its own category and Country area context, so a 3★ hotel is not compared directly with a 5★ resort.
IKFT Recognized levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum (reflect the strength of family suitability signals identified under the Kidmetrix™ methodology).
Travel Mode Tags: Splash & Play, Nature & Retreat, and City & Discovery (describe the general style of family-travel signals highlighted in the listing. Directory status may appear as Current, Under Review, or Expired, where applicable).
