IKFT Solutions for Hotels
Kids first IKFT Audits, independent reviews & consultancy
Practical services for 3★ / 4★ / 5★ hotels
Independent, child-focused evaluations and advisory support.
LET'S WORK TOGETHER
IKFT adds a kid focused and accessibility lens to hospitality quality using the IKFT Kidmetrix™ framework.
We do not duplicate internal quality control; we translate family needs into practical checklists, executive summaries, and clear next actions.
Our approach is designed to integrate with existing hotel operations and minimize disruption.
Reviews reflect information available at the time and, where applicable, what can be observed during an onsite review.
If you already operate an internal quality program, IKFT is designed to integrate with it rather than replace it. We add a specialist child and accessibility focused lens aligned to hotel operations, aiming to minimize disruption and speed up practical improvements. Outcomes are reflected through independent IKFT recognitions based on information available at the time of review.
Where applicable, our reviewers also consider observational signals such as how spaces flow for families, how teams communicate, and how welcome is experienced.
Think your hotel may qualify for IKFT Recognized™?
Our preliminary eligibility check has no fee!
When the IKFT Directory goes live, families will be able to verify hotel status and compare options within the same destination and star class. If your hotel is not yet listed, request a no‑fee eligibility check to be considered for inclusion.
Our Clients
Our clients include hotel leadership responsible for guest experience, operations, brand reputation and revenue. Typical stakeholders: General Managers, Operations Leaders, Portfolio / Regional Leadership, Owners / Investors, and Marketing / Revenue teams.

The Future of Trust (2027 Preview)
The Future of Trust in Family Hospitality.
IKFT Performance Intelligence™ is an upcoming subscription program available only to hotels that already hold an IKFT badge.
It combines AI-assisted analysis of family related guest feedback with trend dashboards that highlight what families appreciate most and where they see room for improvement.
Verified hotels may also choose to add a blockchain based Proof of Existence stamp, confirming the authenticity of their IKFT Verified report and adding an extra layer of transparency for partners and OTAs.
Participating properties will receive quarterly Family Experience Insight Reports summarizing patterns, progress, and indicative ROI signals drawn from available data. Results are descriptive, intended to enhance transparency, and based solely on information available at the time of processing.
The IKFT Kids Factsheet™ will provide a clear, one page summary of the key family-related features identified during IKFT reviews. Each Factsheet is designed to give families practical, easy-to-read information about what a hotel offers; from room configuration and play areas to accessibility and dining options.
These summaries are generated directly from verified data collected during IKFT assessments and are intended to help parents make more informed decisions.
Participation is optional and available only to hotels that have already achieved IKFT Recognized™ or IKFT Verified™ status. Factsheets are informative, not promotional, and all content is based on the information available at the time of review.
Our aim is to make verified information more transparent for families while helping hotels clearly communicate their family friendly strengths.
At Its Heart!
Even experienced managers rarely see the full human atmosphere created by their teams.
IKFT reveals how families actually feel, how staff behavior shapes trust, and how genuine hospitality turns stays into memories.
IKFT fills that gap.
Through independent observation, we reveal how guests actually feel and how staff behaviors translate into family comfort, trust, and satisfaction. Our assessments help management identify true excellence on the floor and fairly recognize employees who genuinely deliver outstanding family service supporting internal promotion and career development decisions.
At its heart, International Kids Friendly Travel believes family travel is a human experience. Buildings and policies matter, but what children remember most are people the smiles, patience, and understanding that turn a stay into a memory.
Did you do the utmost for your little guests & the un-little ones who travel with them?
Prove it!
IKFT provides independent evaluation and advisory services under written agreement.
Verified recognition requires an onsite audit. Hybrid remote reviews apply only to the Recognized level.
IKFT does not perform licensed medical, legal, or engineering services.
